Following its launch in 1959, the classic Mini was soon on its way to becoming a global icon, especially after partnering with Cooper in the early 60s to develop the fabled Cooper & Cooper S variants. Not long after the Cooper S’s release, it was entered in the Monte Carlo Rallye, which it sensationally won in 1964 & 65. Production of the classic Mini continued until 2000, when the last one rolled off the production line. However, this was swiftly followed by the new generation BMW Mini, which launched in the same year. Scorpion has been producing performance exhausts for the classic and new generation Minis for over 30 years, so it was natural that we became the chief technical partner with the increasingly popular Mini Challenge race series, ensuring true track-to-road technology transfer for our products.

Road-Test Review:
During our road test, we thoroughly evaluated the GPF-back system and the GPF delete section in real-world driving conditions. We were endlessly entertained by the “orchestra of chaos” a deep, aggressive tone that made the MINI sound like a well-tuned ’60s V8 motor cut in half, with a turbo strapped to the side. It’s a boisterous four-cylinder indeed, with slight over-fuelling at points giving a great low-end burble! We turned heads and dropped jaws with how incredible this MINI estate sounds.
We’d recommend this setup for those seeking a full-on experience, while a GPF-back alone may be more suitable for those looking for a more family-friendly alternative.

Daytona: This design needs no introduction, the classic Scorpion Daytona slash-cut style with a modern twist on a timeless look. The Daytona is a great-looking option for everything from hot hatchbacks to flagship autobahn saloons.
