Since the invention of the first internal combustion engine-powered car, Mercedes has enjoyed success across numerous forms of motorsport, most significantly in the 50’s with the original silver arrows winning back-to-back championships in Formula 1 and more recently in the 2000’s, winning seven consecutive constructors and drivers titles.
